3. In 2012, there were 17 short sales 11 foreclosures sold. So 28 out of 88 homes sold were in distress, that is 32%. Last year, 2013, there were 9 short sales and 5 foreclosures sold. A total of 14 distressed sales, 12%, a decrease of 20%. This is great news for home owners. Less foreclosures and short sales to compete against.
